The Centre for Spiritual Living is a spiritual centre that serves the community as a resource of spiritual education and enrichment. No matter where you are on your own path through life, our intention is to offer you the opportunity to find the information and inspiration that will feed your soul, enrich your body and make your heart soar. We invite you to attend any of our classes and events. They were created with you in Mind.

 

1. FOUNDATIONS

Tuesdays, 7:00-10:00pm: April 22 – June 24, 2008, 10 sessions

Course Description

Discover and express the power, creativity, freedom, abundance and joy that lie within you. Build a firm foundation of Spirit as you transform and expand your life, career and relationships. Develop an understanding of the golden thread of Universal Truth in all spiritual traditions

Topics include:

  • The One Cosmic Reality
  • Discover and creating what you truly want
  • Forgiving the past, living the present, designing the future
  • The creative process and the power of thought
  • Spiritual mind treatment and the power of prayer
  • Realizing Divine Supply
  • Fundamentals of relationships
  • Meditation as a daily spiritual practice

Foundations is the entry level class in the study of Science of Mind. The student is introduced to the core concepts of Religious Science and taught how to apply these Universal principles in his/her own life.

Note: Foundations is the Prerequisite Class for all other accredited classes.

 

2. SELF-MASTERY

Facilitator: Mauri Bernstein, RScP

Grow in wholeness by venturing beyond the walls of ego-self, into freedom and living in steady awareness that the Spirit within is our True Self. Deepening and strengthening of this awareness, brings growing mastery in the art of living.

TOPICS INCLUDE:

  • Elements of our inner being
  • Wholeness
  • Healthy relationships
  • Self-esteem as empowerment
  • The power of faith and commitment
  • The Eternal Now
  • Correcting limited beliefs
  • Being who you truly are

The Self-Mastery class focuses on healing the perceived separation between personality and Spirit. Through an active exploration of the creative nature of thoughts and feelings, beliefs and emotions, the student has an opportunity to gain mastery in the art of living as a conscious, intentional being.

 

3. ROOTS OF THE SCIENCE OF MIND

A deep and rich class to help gain a a better understanding of the essence of New Thought and Religious Science principles.

This class will delve into the historical roots of Ernest Holmes' philosophy with specific emphasis on the works of Judge Thomas Troward, Emma Curtis Hopkins and Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Get ready to have an enlightening experience of insight and practical application of the Science of Mind principles in your life.

When: Ten Tuesdays, beginning January 22, 6:30-9:30 pm

Where: Masonic Hall, 1495 W. 8th Avenue

Fees: $200 for members, $220 for non-members

Materials: Books available in the SpiritWorks after service

 

4. 5 GIFTS OF AN ABUNDANT LIFE!

During this program you will be able to practice giving your GIFTS so that you KNOW God is our Source and that we are here to live the Abundance of God! You will support each other through Prosperity Prayer Pods, Sharing, Experiential Exercises and Love, to know "I AM PROSPEROUS!"

This class will change your life!

When: Eight Mondays, beginning January 21, 7 - 10 pm

Where: Masonic Hall, 1495 W. 8th Avenue

Class Fee: Students will be asked to tithe 10% of all income for 8 weeks

Materials: $65 - Includes 5 GIFTS book, workbook, CD, bookmark & pen

5. SPIRITUAL PRACTICES: TREATMENT & MEDITATION

Fee: $200 - CSL members; $240 - non-members

Course Description

This course supports each student in developing a spiritual foundation based on daily meditation and spiritual mind treatment. Students will begin to establish a deep center of spiritual realization and peace within.

Topics include:

  • Continuing our journey
  • Realizing our Oneness
  • Drawing on the Infinite reservoir within
  • Knowing the spiritual truth
  • Getting stuck and getting free
  • Embracing the Path
  • Seeing with heart and mind
  • Trusting life's process
  • Marking our progress

This class focuses on the student developing lifetime habits of meditation and strengthening his/her practice of spiritual mind treatment for his/herself and others.
